Exclamation Anyone recognise this rubber piece?

Greetings! im new to the forum but ive been lurking since december or so... registered but never got a confirmation email, after trying to contact a lot of moderators and administrators i gave up and registered again

So anyway, i got my front bumper fixed and repainted, as well both side mirrors and the rear bumper (although that wasnt removed), and when i drove my 05 GT back at home, i found this piece on the passengers floor mat

I asked the body shop owner days later and the moron said it wasnt from my car... yeah right. Nedless to say, but i wont ever go back again with him

Anyone got any idea where this piece goes?

looks almost like a grommet to protect the wires that come through the firewall but i doubt its that because most of them are sealed a bit better. Id look around for some wiring coming through bare metal and see if it looks like it will fit anywhere like that

you also could go to ford and give them that part number, "4R33..." and see what they say, also if it isnt to much trouble, do you think you could resize the image, i cant get a good look at it since i have to scroll to see it.

Yeah, i might need to go with my local Ford dealerships, problem is they always have problems to locate pieces even when i provide the part number

I am almost 100% sure this is a grommit (or something) for wires to go through. I think they are installed up above the SJB between the main body frame and the door (at least there is one there...there might be others).

Now that I *really* read the original and subsequent posts (shame on me), this has to be it. Contrary to what you might think, these grommets don't seem to be sealed AT ALL! Mine almost fell out on me when I was poking around in my 2006 dealing with the water leak issue.

Did you try a Google search on the P/N? I can't quite make it out in the photo.
