Default Wheel/Tire Question

Hello all, I have a quick question for our wheel and tire sizing experts.
Last year I bought a set of 4 18x9 black bullet wheels with 275/40/18 tires on them.
They look great and fit perfectly but I think I am going to go with a staggered set up. I'd like to keep two of my 18x9s up front and replace the rears with 18x10s.
My main question is what tires would I go with that would keep the stance as is and match up well with the 275s up front.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Also right now my tires come right out to the fender wells and look great would an 18x10 with a 45 offset keep that look on the rears?
Thanks for the help!

i would go with at least 285 or 295's in the rear for a 10" width.
what tires are on there now?

I am currently running nitto 555s. 275/40/18

I was thinking possibly 295/40/18s for the back but was afraid the sidewalls might be too high.

NT05's come in 295/35/18, which is perfect IMHO. I would think the 555's come in that size too.

I'm trying to figure that out right now. I was checking my invoice from Cruizin Concepts but it doesn't say. All I can tell you (I'm not at home) is that all four tires come out almost flush with the top of the wheel well. I would hate to put on new rear tires don't come out as far as it would look strange. I also don't want tires that come out PAST the wheel well either.

if you get new rims/tires and they don't come flush with the rear fenderwell, you can easily install new studs and a spacer...about $100

it's better to fail safe and not have them flush...than to go to far and have things sticking out.

true that on a 10 45 offset you should be pretty close to flush...

a 10" wide 45 offset will sit 10mm in from this.
