Default UPR oil catch can?

Anyone here using the UPR oil catch can in their stangs? I'd like to know what sort of filter material is inside those (steel mesh, fiber, etc.). Thanks!

I am. Steel fiber. This was the only place I could find to mount it with the whipple.

Steel mesh with a drilled drip plate separating the two compartments.

Hmmm...I was hoping it wasn't steel mesh. I read this bit of info about catch cans and it said the steel wool mesh can have loose strands and become dislodged and be pulled into the intake. Page 5 of the PDF.

Guess I'll just get the conceptual polymer catch can. A bit more money but I guess it's worth it.

your getting your info from a product brochure for a competing product..... Take that with a BIG grain of salt. Has it happened.... probably some where, but I REALLY do not think that it is that big a issue. I'm using a Stefs and I LOVE it. Great product.
