Need a V6 for my Mustang Model
Ok guys, I've looked for a solution but can't find one, so I'm hoping someone on here has an Idea I haven't thought of.
One of my hobbies when i was young was making and painting models. My goal this year is to build a model of my 2006 Mustang Convertible, putting it together in such a way so that when I have finished customizing my driver mustang, the model looks just like it. One dilema: I have a V6 Mustang. I thought, ok no problem, I'll just find a Ford Ranger model and use it's engine. The problem is, I haven't found one yet.
So my question: Has anyone seen a model out there of a Ranger with the 4.0 or any other ford Model with a V6?

drop in a GT motor and your good! lol. but i always wanted to have a replica of mine to, but i have to much aftermarket parts to find a model like mine.
also even if you found a model, the scale might be a lil off where the mustang could be a 1:35 and the ranger could be a 1:34... that is if you ever found one.

Unless you have the GT front bumper and rear bumper on your V6 then they are not going to match either (also the fog lights). Not impossible to do but you may need to use a dremel.
I think i saw at Hobby lobby that you can make your own mold for parts and cast them. I don't think it would be easy. Maybe cut off 2 of the cynders and use the remaining part for a base. Mold it out of clay, set it in the plastic/rubber and after it hardens you pour in the model plastic and let that sit. Probably a few trials and errors but if your handy it would probably work.
