i'm going through same decision process now..
I think I've narrowed it down to the flowmaster or magnaflow, moderate sounding.

there is nothing worse than "too loud" imo as I had that problem on my 335i automatic. on the highway it was just sickening... granted smaller engine etc... still don't want to chance it.

from clips I've heard it really does sound like the moderate magnaflows are going to be the "safest" or "quietest" while still giving a better than stock sound??
hard to tell until you've heard both in person...

any advice??

I don't know. I also don't want to get something that is too quiet. I might just go with the regular american thunders to be safe. When I get a tune it will probably deepen the exhaust a little as well.

i have read some reviews of people being bummed out with the regular magnaflows (not the magnapacks) because they were pretty quiet, close to stock. just fyi

dam, don't know what the hec to do now lmao....

back to flowmaster american thunders?? the "agressive" ones?

many people post clips but don't specify if they are the agressive or moderate ones...
are the agressive too loud?

is that what most are using??

are the moderate too quiet??

honestly go to americanmuscle.com and at least look up the pypes violator axle back. youll save a good amount of money and they sound great. plus they are stainless steel. and read the reviews on there too. they sell a ton of axle backs and you can read what a lot of people have said about what they bought.

No, they will be fine. I have them and they are great and no drone. The one guy that posted about drone has a V6 so it's a different situation.
