Coolant temp help
I have a 06 gt with a build block and a stage 2 procharger with a d1 sc head unit and a upgraded 800+hp innercooler. my coolant temps right now are about 205. is that too hot or is that about normal. i want to know what a good temp should be for our cars under boost. Anyone who is blown how hot is your coolant temp getting up to? need feedback thank you. i am running about 17lb of boost.

+1 on Fan speeds. Also, If you are concerned about the 205 (which is normal), spend the 20 bucks (or less) and put a 160 degree thermostat

My car in 100 degree houston weather with fans set at 170 low and 180 high (both min numbers on sct tunner)
operates in the 174-79 range City, top down no ac. City Top down Normal ac 185-87. City Top down max ac is abt 194. I do not see 200 anything any more even in traffic.
As you can see the parasitic loss in a hot environment will play with your temps
