Very true. They're gonna make their money somewhere. In my case, the deal was actually better than $27k, as they gave me more for my trade in than it was worth.

i got 18 for my paid off 6er.

Base model 6er.

Im in duluth, just got back from a nice drive,

its a base GT, which is fine, i hate leather, and ive heard the shaker 500 is still not a very good system, so i am good with the base GT and i will just make it prettier :P

silver, gunna put two 10 inch stripes down her this week or next probably.

Wow ... $18K is pretty good for the V6 ... That's about what they sell for used!

PS ..you need to update you info to GT instead of V6 ...

Personally I would not be happy with a base Mustang ... The Bells and Whistles of the Premium with the new 2010 interior plus the Power of the V8 makes for both a serious sports car and luxury car all in one ...

FYI .. I am selling my GT intake cover + the Strut Tower brace if you are interested. I had to remove them to install the Shaker.

Given the quality of the factory air intake (as good as some aftermarket 2005-2009) and the fact that my butt weighed 280 lb wet when I was running 12's all you need is a tune, good air and a driver mod to get it in the 12's if you have the M5 and 3.55 or 3.73 Gears. Especially if you weigh 200 lb or less. If it has the standard 3.31 you might have to swap them.

If you have the auto you might need a converter.

A base car never bothered me. My 2007 is a Deluxe with one option... 3.55. My 2011 is a 300-A with one option... 3.55.
