Default goin to try different mid pipes with my l/t's

i had stainless works headers on my 07 gt with ther off road mid connecting pipes. i was having problems with the twisting in the clamps because of the weight of the mufflers and there are no hangers on these mid pipes. they dont even connect like an h-pipe or an x-pipe, they just connect to your catback and hang there. can i try the pypes x-pipe thats supposed to splice into your stock h-pipe? it looks to be about the right length to connect to my headers and it has hangers. heres a picture http://www.lmperformance.com/26950/73.html

any other options do u think i have? im about to install the headers on my 2010 and ide like this issue taking care of
