Hi all,

New member here. Looks like there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site!

I have an 08 GT and am having Kooks LT's + Catted H and FRPP Hot Rod Cams installed this week.

I'm just wondering how much of a difference in sound will I be looking at with these new parts? I checked out youtube but could not find an exact match to what I have.

I've already got the FRPP Stinger mufflers on the car.

Thanks!

I imagine its gonna be loud, but good loud. Could be some drone with the stingers or so I have heard they drone. But hell, mine drones too! Cams and LTs at the same time, should be a nice increase in power. I just did my LTs and really could not feel any power increase but I did best my 1320 time by nearly two tenths, so they defiantly are working. My cams arnt installed yet, so I cant comment on those.

Here is what my pypes LTs with a catted H pipe sounds like. Different muffler though.

How much difference in sound? Is that a serious question? Because if so, you sure have me fooled.

But to say the least, the sound will be tremendously different.

BTW, you have an absolutely sick setup there. I look forward to some videos in the future.

Thanks for posting your video.....sounds very good!

I just got a call from the shop saying everything has been installed. They said it made 323 hp and 311 tq to the wheels which sounds pretty good to me. Too bad I didn't have get a dyno before the mods to see how much I gained.

Time to decide what I want to do next I guess

hahaha well I knew the cams would make a huge difference and assumed something similar with the headers. I guess I just wanted to know if anyone had the same setup as mine and could share their experiences.

I'll be sure to get a video up sometime.

Do you have an intake and tuner? I would imagine you don't? I would figure you'd be around 350hp with your set up if it included the intake/tuner.

Basically, what I'm saying, is get those two mods if you don't already have them.

Just picked the car up today and words cannot describe the sound of this thing. Huge improvement over just the Stingers in the sound department. The idle of the cams is just perfect.

I'll try to get some videos and pcitures up soon.

I highly recommend this setup to anyone!!
