Suspension Mods (wheel hop gone)

Suspension Mods (wheel hop gone)
I picked up a 2005 GT Premium last month from a friend who only put 24K easy miles on it, so it was all stock. The first thing I noticed was the miserable wheel hop. So I thought I would put down what I did to the car in one spot:
First off, I put a JLT CAI and Brenspeed tune in the car as well as UDP's and a MGW shifter. Now for the wheel hop issues.
1) Called BMR and they suggested non-adjustable LCA's. I put those in and it helped, but did not eliminate the problem.
2) This weekend I installed several rear suspension parts all from UMI (as I got a killer deal from them at the spring Carlisle show). Adjustable UCA and bracket, adjustable Panhard bar and LCA relocation brackets (bolt in).
All my parts have Poly bushings. On the UCA, I used the upper mounting hole, which is the stock location. On the LCA relocation bracket, I used the upper hole which is a couple inches lower than the stock mounting location. I did this because I read of possible understeer issues with using the lower holes.
The car now launches great and ZERO wheel hop even in the rain (it is raining today, so I went out and tried it and nothing, just spinning). The excessive squatting of the rear seems to be gone and handling does not appear to be affected.
I would highly recommend these mods to anyone looking for better acceleration and handling as well as getting rid of that wheel hop.
I went with adjustable parts because I am going to add Steeda Ultralite springs later on.

LCA's are very easy to install. By far the easiest mod in the rear suspension. Just unbolt the old ones (do one side at a time) and bolt in the new ones and torque the bolt down.

I know what you are saying, but I want to lower my car in the future, so you need the adjustable UCA and Panhard bar to properly locate the axle and set the pinion angle after the lowering springs. I figured since I was in there, I would get it all ready for the springs when I can afford them.

Did you notice any handling differences on the lowest holes? Did you use the Prothane grease with the poly bushings? I use this and have NO squeaking. ---> http://www.jegs.com/i/Prothane/311/1...0002/-1?CT=999
I have mine in the lowest hole also. No handling difference that I can tell. I used a marine grade grease and don't have any squeaking just more road noise with the poly bushings.

I don't understand this wheel hop....My car was lowered before I got it. I don't know what else the guy did, but I'll have to check because I don't get any wheel hop.
The worst thing I get is in 1st gear (and now 2nd gear with the 4.10s), the car lunges if I try and hold rpms around 1500-2500. It's really bad when my wife is next to me jerking back and forth lol. Any idea how to stop that??
