No I meant after that hump where it goes flat. If ya had 2 tubes I'd put em on the sides but only 1 would look off I think.

Once off the hump, aren't you on the spare tire cover?

You can always cut it (box cutter works, wouldn't cut the carpet though) so that it hinges after the tube. You should still be able to get at the spare.

Where did you mount your amp? And do you have pics?

We don't have a subout on the Shaker500 system, but Shelby supplies a harness for the 10inch subwoofer to work with the Shaker500/1000. You don't have to cut into any wiring or buy any type of converter to make it work. Everything is plug and play.

Just got a disturbing email from Shelby American, saying that there was a typo on the website, that the subwoofer enclosure is not out for the '10 stangs yet, Only for the 05-09.

I took out the trunk carpet last night to get a closer look.

There really are no good options for a bass tube, as cheap and easy as it would otherwise be. The entire tube would have to be no more than about 7" in diameter to fit on the hump (sideways) against the back seat. It would have to be less than about 18" long to fit on either side of the spare in the 'cutout' areas towards the rear.

The only other option is to mount it directly on the spare tire cover board . . . and I'm not what such a mount sound like.

Well, if you wanna get creative with it, find a way to attach it to the back of the seats themselves with the side of it supported by that hump. Maybe some metal lashing that you can paint so it's not bouncing and ripping out...Or just with straps after bolting to seat like these-

I actually found a 6" Bazooka tube that is only 6 7/8" total in diameter. I think that would work on the hump, turned sideways, and right up against the back seats.

I can't find a powered version for less than $160 though. Not a bad price, but not quite as "cost effective" as some of the larger tubes.
