Bassani axle back impressions but s small leak...
I installed the Bassani axle black kit this weekend and the sound difference between stock and these is extremely noticeable. On a cold start it is super loud but it's much more easy once it idles. I haven't driven enuff to get a complete feel but the cabin is not as quiet anymore. I really like the sound upgrade they provide. Now the installation was a bit problematic, I had to really work them get them close to the index nuts. They look great after all the work but I feel a slight leak right at the clamp on the side where the clamp 's bolt locks up! Not sure if this will create problems or not? What do you guys think? I can always take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it if the problem will lead to problems.
ps. I will post a video as soon as I get the camera from my GF..

Thanks for the write-up, I look forward to your video.
If you plan to keep the car for a few years, and you don't intend to put the stock back on, my opinion would be to do what it takes to get the leak out, to include welding if necessary.

Ok so I noticed my muffler tips sticking out about 3/4'' more then when I installed them! So logically I went to the muffler shop and had them welded! My further impressions are that it is a giANt difference between these and stock! While the friendly burble of the stock muffs is certainly missed these roar when you punch it! You can hear them inside even with the ac blasting at max and the ball game at good volume. I should have a pic up tonight(half assed pic) and maybe a vid later on! My c&l cai should arrive here tues but I wont put it on until i'm over 1k miles, then I will give my impressions on the new Chris Rose tune from AM.
