Wow those meats look like serious business! Can you daily drive it like that!?

Oh and just a suggestion... maybe you could spray the mesh on the hood black to match... like so:

The after looks a lot better (of course the before was good too).

I don't know what some are talking about with negative things about the wheels/tires. That's how a muscle car is SUPPOSED to look. That and it shows this car means business. But of course, we are in an era for some weird reason where the cool thing is rubber band tires and huge rims. Now THAT looks bad and does not belong on any muscle car.

Meat FTW!

Thanks to all for the comments... glad nobody "sugar-coated" their opinions. You guys know I always say exactly what I mean... so I'm happy to have the variety of opinions. It's important to understand that I don't Daily Drive this car! The wheels and tires are chosen to do business... with over 500 RWHP I need a lot of traction to get it to the ground.

Shella thanks for the compliments - you made me LOL! I'd never be discouraged - I think you've "known" me long enough to know I don't follow the crowd & this car reflects my unique vision... I'm TOTALLY pleased with the outcome! I'm gonna get the front wheels off the ground when she hooks up at the track. Look out 11.5 ET!

07BLACKGT - I definitely was on the fence about the hood grilles but now that you showed me what it looks like... I WILL spray them flat black! And THANKS for the siggy it looks AWESOME... great job!

THIS is my daily driver... its a V6 with a few tasty mods... she inherited the original Roush hood over the winter... notice the snow tires? Goes through the snow like a jeep with those tires.

You're driving on the RaceStars, correct?

I love to see people driving around on their drag setup. I'm all about the business end of things. Kudos for that.

My only complaint is the hood. Not a fan, even if it is (dunno) functional.

Thanks dude... I'm 51 & can't help lovin' the "old school" drag car look too - & YES they are indeed RaceStar wheels!

As for the hood... I love it because I disliked how the original Roush scoop looked cheap & "tacked on" - this scoop is INTEGRAL to the hood & yeah, it is functional.
