RedBeast - I set this car up for drag racing... they're 15" RaceStar wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials - this is the HOTTEST setup available for drag racing today if you want to be able to drive to the track, race & drive back home without changing wheels. I LOVE the Muscle car look & the way this car's set up, traction won't be a problem! I'm looking to do 11 seconds... stay tuned for my timeslips to be posted in a few weeks.
I'm proud to have done every bit of this "transformation" myself - including the vinyl stripe job - got the stripes from Rob @ Baltimore Street Mods... they're the best!

Blacked out the grilles in the hood scoops. BTW this hood breathes really well & there's no "hood shake" at high speed!! Thanks Cervini's...great fit & the paintjob matched the car perfectly.

That looks mean as hell man!! I wouldn't try to race you ever, lol, REALLY intimidating. I love the flat black stripes as well.
Did you keep your other rims to swap out after race season is done or is this a permanent everyday setup?

Gotta say I laughed when I saw the after pics.
Not because I thought they looked stupid... but because I thought it looked so MEAN.
VERY NICE job man. I dig everything about it. From the stripe job down to the wheels and meat. Very old school muscle look.
Only thing I would add would be headlight splitters (if you're into those). I think they would top it off perfectly.

Thanks guys... very gratifying to have your compliments - it was SUCH a labor of LOVE & I really got the outcome I was going for! Now the "acid test" will be hitting the dragstrip & seeing what she does in the 1/4 mile. Stay tuned for when I post some timeslips later this month.
07gtdude - I sold the Roush 20" forged chrome wheels for $1500 & bought the M/T tires & RaceStar wheels for $1511.. LOL! Very cool the way that worked out - like trading my used wheels/tires for brand-new replacements of EXACTLY what I wanted!
Blacksmoke - You definitely "get it"... thanks for saying that. I'm not yet a headlight splitter guy... but they look GREAT on yours!

No problem man. You seem to have got EXACTLY the look you were going for.
That is harder to do than many think on a car.
Again, your car looks outstanding.
Many times people end up with a completely different look than they plan.
Thanks for the compliments as well!
