Ohhk, lol. I'm in north AL so that'd be too far of a drive for me, but **** $50!!? What a deal! They look great!
It was a great deal, and the guy was real laid back, and excited to powdercoat something different. He had a 800+hp '03 TransAm drag car sitting there in the garage, in the middle of farm country AL, so he was excited to help a fellow hotrodder. He gave me his card, and I'm sure he would be willing to work with you, and since valve covers are so light weight, the shipping to his shop and back would probably be pretty cheap if you were interested. PM me and I'll give you his contact info if you are interested.
nice valve covers sir. man i really enjoyed my time being stationed in pensacola. so nice there. went to pcola beach pretty much every day. good times.
Looks really good Bird! That's funny that you posted this, because I did the same thing this weekend(see my post). I wanted to do mine red but since my car is red, I tought it might be a little too much. Anyway, the red looks amazing on your car!

Thanks redman! I had a similar line of thought on putting black on mine, and I thought it would be overkill. Yours look pretty good too, how much did all of the paint set you back?
To answer the other question I'm sure to get, yes I still have my old valve covers. I was going to let my wife ebay them, but if someone wants to PM me a reasonable offer, it'll save me the hassle (well, my wife anyway).
Man, I'm your new local friend....we should discuss this before you sell them.
They look great on your car, but I was thinking to keep it simple with black on my car. I've never been a big fan of Red, and where in Alabama did you have them powder coated?
