I get to join the "I just in an accident" club

I thought the same thing when I re-looked at the picture, but it drives fine and there are no scuff marks on the tire. The body shop will also do a front end alignment just to make sure nothing is out of wack.

you are already 1/2 way to the GT500 conversion
hood looks creased/pushed over
fender
headlight
bumper/upper cover
The GT500 parts are just slightly more expensive than the GT stuff. You'd have to buy a Passenger headlight out of pocket and the GT500 fogs (if you want them) and the GT500 grille.
the bumpers and drivers head would be pretty much paid for from the accident.

Damn, sorry to hear about your ride getting hit. I have been waiting (saving) up for a GT500 front end, but the thought of getting hit to get it replaced might be a good thing :P LOL j/k Id go with the GT500 front end, it just looks mean!!

For what it's worth, the GT/CS front bumper KIT retails at $399...
Part #: 6R3Z-6320049-AA. It includes the grilles, front liner and the mounting hardware.
The suspension should be OK, the wheel always tilt funny when it's steered at a tight angle...
Also, the hood seems fine, the fender tip is crocked upward.
Lol @ front axle.

The other guys insurance company called me and said everyting is settled and to go ahead and get the body shop to start working on my car.
So guess what I did...... I went and ordered the parts to do a GT500 Conversion. I blame people like MellowYellow and Pascal and all the others that have succesfully done this mod and made a good looking car look even better.
BTW: I appreciate eveybodys input and comments and I want everybody know that I had a really hard time deciding which way to go but figured I have always liked the front end of the GT500 and when I girst got the Mustang I wanted to do this mod.

I ordered the parts from our F150Online buddys at TascaParts.com. The parts cost me $1620, that includes the left front fender that needs to be replaced. I beleive the total for just the GT500 front cost around $1300. Ordering through Tasca I am getting a saving of ~$780 off MSRP. Of course these is also shipping which since they are putting the parts on a pallet box and drop shipping them directly to the body shop it is costing only $145.
The Estimate on the repairs is about $1800. I will still have to pay for the fender and bumper cover to be painted. I am hoping to only pay out of pocket expenses of about $600.
I guess time will only tell. I will try to keep you updated once all is said and done.
