Default Got my Kaenan 3" cowl

I got the Kaenan 3" cowl hood today. It arrived at my work and I inspected it before signing. It's in perfect condition. The hood looks very high quality. I'm taking it to the painter on Saturday. They quoted me $450 for the topside and $50 for the underside with installation too. I'm debating whether I should stripe it while it's there but I'm not sure what kind of stripes would work with a cowl.
Oh, and the 3rd pic is not an illusion. I do have a third leg. lol

EDIT(5/18/10): Here's a quick pic of the painted and installed hood. I'll take better shots outdoors when time permits.

I love that hood.. I have a cowl on mine with a stripe, it's Satin Silver and the top portion of the cowl is painted black. Should be able to take a look at my avatar for a picture. Looking forward to seeing that hood installed.

I don't know if I should test fit the hood before getting it painted. It would be nice not having to remove the stock hood, test fit the cowl hood and remove again to take it to the shop for paint. Leaving the hood on, and my car at the shop for a few days is not an option. I might just take a chance and have it painted before trying it on. These hoods fit perfectly right off the bat right?
