With on 6k on it, it should be cherry for sure. Mine is an 06 also and I thought 16k miles was low miles. So did you buy it?

redrocker66....yea my mechanic said it may or may not be an issue but he told me not to let it be a deterrent.

I'll likely stick with the Motorcraft Semi Synth. Thats what I use on my F150 with no issues.
