Lightbulb Safe alternative for guys not wanting to risk it with boost?

Welp.... would this kit be?

Looks like it would get you at about the same
(perhaps a tad less) than a new 5.0

Performance without having to trade the body style I like now...
and not having to wonder about a boosted engine blowing your motor.

Wonder how much a dealership would charge for the install?

Opinions on all of this?

That's a cool package. But a dealership will screw you hard to install that if they would in the first place. I'd expect a few G's in labor.

Not into superchargers but all in all if I had to do it over again I would have just spent the money on a blower and got it over with. The labor costs to install all of it push it into the range of a supercharger without the gains.

Also I wouldnt have issues trying to get the darn thing to pass emmissions here in Texas.

Not the exact kit but the same basic setup. I wouldnt do it over again. spent a boat load of cash for minimal gain. But if you are a diehard N/A person like me I say go for it.

Wow ... they got 425HP out of this kit! I'd pay for this before a Blower if the price was comparable ... You also save an extra $150 using you stock valve covers.

crank #'s

spend another $1,000 to grab a blower and you can have 420+ rwhp instead

would be nice to have all those bolt-ons to support a blower though
