Here's a laugh for yall.

Decided to go test drive with my mind made up I was NOT going to even THINK about trading in for at least a year.
And the probability that I was just gonna end up keeping mine period.

I get there.... I see no 5.0's out front.
Im thinkin "Maybe he only got a couple and they are both out for a test drive."

I go up to the front desk... ask for the salesman.
He comes and is like you are wanting a 5.0 Lit right?
I say "Yup".

He said.. well I should have checked on this but we don't have any of the 5.0's in but we do have some 2011 V6's.

I'm thinking to myself... "How funny.. this guy was calling me on the phone trying to get me in just so he could make a quick sell on their first '11 shipment, and I was trying to come in just to take a joy ride with no intention of purchasing."

The he proceeds to tell me... "But we do have some GT's out in the back that they just brought in." (I'm thinking WTF?... their 10 GT's are out front".)

Apparently this fool did not even know the the 11 GT IS the 5.0.
So I drive to the back seeing if maybe there are a few 5.0's in the back.

THERE ARE NO MUSTANGS IN THE BACK PERIOD.
Just a couple of new edges that I'm sure belonged to employees.

Anyways...it just struck me funny that the guy really knew there were'nt any 5.0's in and CALLED ME when he got his first shipment of '11's in just to make a quick sell.
Then it turns out the guy did not even know the 5.0 is the new GT.

Maybe this guy wasn't trying to make a quick buck off an 11 V6 and was just ignorant as hell on the Mustang period.
Who knows.

Don't test drive one. You won't know what you're missing if you never experience it.

If you want to make power all motor didn't you buy the wrong car? Seems like it would be time to drop a chevy small block in there if that's the route you wanna take.

When I was considering buying a 2010 GT, I found the one online I specifically was interested in. Called the salesman and told him that I specifically wanted to test drive that car.

His response, "Sure, come on in. I'll have it pulled around front when you get here. It's right out front in our lot."

The next day...you're not going to believe this.

I show up at our appointed time. He proceeds to tell me, "I'm so sorry, I have been running around the lot all morning looking for that car, and I just realized it was sitting right here in our showroom....buy you can test drive another" WTF.

LOL! As if he did not know that this car, the one he has walked by now every day for the last week, was not sitting in his show room.

Lesson to be learned - Some salesmen will say anything just to get you on the lot. And when they do that, they INSTANTLY lose my business. I'll go to another dealer and have them pull that car from the other lot and purchase it from the other dealer. Did that last time and pissed the guy off soooo bad.
