Default Hot Weather, Stiff Clutch?

For some reason ever since the weather has become warmer outside, it seems that my clutch has become more stiff. Has anyone ran into this problem or have I lost my mind? At night when it is cooler, the clutch seems to go back to normal. It's hard to describe but I do know I can hear it sqeak when it is doing it and when it's not, no sqeak at all. Is there something in the pedal mechanism that could be affected by heat? I don't know what is going on so I thought I would come here for advice. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm, only thing I can think of is that the input shaft splines are dirty or have some rust along them, also hence the squeak.

Could be that the cold weather is also more humid?? Lub'ing the splines for you?
