Default Are these section changes a little too much?

This seems like a little overkill. Everything is majorly split up now. Maybe in due time it'll be a little more clear. But I originally visited this forum for a one stop area for everything about my car. Now it seems I have to check out like 6 different sections where as it used to be one or two.

Can't it just be
S197's, 2010's, 2011's. I really dont see a need for an appearance section and a technical section. As those lines are always blurred anyways.

2 cents~

This wasn't a trickle-down, management-has-spoken, you-deal-with-it decision. We listened to the gripes we were hearing from the members, and came up with the best alternative to meet the majority of suggestions that were offered. As Matt says, we knew going in that we weren't going to make EVERYONE happy, but a vast majority should like what we've done here to make this a better experience for all S197 members.

i don't agree with this at all. there is a clear distinction between aesthetic and functional/technical/performance enhancing items

i really don't need to be seeing threads about lambo doors in a section where people are talking about forced induction or which cams to use

I'm not complaining...
.......and I don't wear coochie pads either!

It's not that big of a deal guys, if there are flaws or improvements to be made, it will be addressed.
Right now, it's the best we can come up with and nothing is written in stones.
Once we get a feel of it, we'll know where to tune things up.

You should all thanks 28HopHup (and others) for doing a fine job because none of us get paid here, and it's fine, but tolerance is key when you get free stuff
In the case of this Forum, valuable infos for the most part.

I think the changes are great... I was wondering how they were going to handle the whole Old S197 4.6/New S197 4.6/New S197 5.0 thing. I think they pulled it off.

to me it's not sectioned enough, every section is so generic. someone could post a topic about supercharging and have it fit in three different sections. most other forums have more specific sections so that you don't have the catch all style sections like there is now.

Let's blame Ford. If they had just put the 5.0 in the '10 it would all make sense...

I miss the 2010 section but I will adjust. Still a great forum.
