I know this isn't the 5.0 section, but I've been reading since I have an 06GT as well, and the 'stumble' but not stall sounds exactly like something my 91 is doing. It wasn't terribly noticeable at first, just something that made you wonder if you were imagining things. Then it got to where I just ALMOST thought the transmission was slipping....

Now, its pretty regular, and its almost dying when it does it. Gas mileage used to be AWESOME! Now its sucking. Sounds like my fuel pump and/or filter are kaput.

I have 151k miles on my 04 V6 without changing the fuel filter, but I do realize it needs changed.

Mine was pretty textbook. I could cruise and pass all I wanted on the highway. But once I got off the interstate and coasted to a stop the car would stumble for just a split second when I started to accelerate from the first stoplight.

Dealer replaced per TSB. No problem since. I never, ever had the car completely shut off on me.
