I had the GT500KR's after I went with the LT's and high flow cats and when you got on it you could wake the dead, even just starting the car under my car port announced to the neighborhood i was going for a ride. So I went back to the GTA's, they are nice and like someone else stated only loud when you get on it and even then not so bad. Its a nice low sound for driving around town. Having said all that i've recently been trolling utube and listening to the sound clips again, it never ends....................

i had a 1986 GT bbk off road h pipe and flows 2 chamber when someone broke in and stold the radio amp subs ext i just listend to the motor for the next 2 years it was great!!

Corsa sports with Bassani X; car is crazy loud on cold starts. If i just cruise around town its fine, and at hwy speeds its fine with no drone. Some mornings when i start work at 6:15-6:30am even light acceleration is bothersome. I have thought about going back to quiet....but then my exhaust just feels so right ripping through the mountains, or going down the 1/4 mile!

If you are looking for louder sounding exhaust, the SLP (Street Legal Performance) Axleback exhaust sounds really good on the GT's. They are like $339+ and you can install yourself. Go to Youtube and type in "Mustang GT" "SLP" and tons of videos will come up!

i am on my 6th exhaust setup. sucks, lol. its sooo hard to find that happy medium, right now i would like mine a tit louder.

My previous exhaust set ups

Stock= explanation not needed.

JBA shorties and FRPP stingers= sounded good, not too much drone. Turned heads

JBA shorties and a turbo, no mufflers= sounded even better. Not as loud at cruising but WOT was very loud.

Same as above with no cats= sounded like a race car. Absolutely the best sounding car ever.

JBAs, Bassani muffs, KB @ 15 psi= quietest since stock and my favorite for daily driving.

I also am running the GTA's, It has a nice little rumble, and sounds really goos WOT. But I still want louder. My buddy has a used x pipe. Would that make it any louder??? And yesterday the guy next door said I love they way your car sounds. Not to loud, just right. So now I'm going to get the old lady to drive down the street so I can hear it from the outside.

I have the Pypes deletes and love the sound. I can't wait for spring and fall so I can put the windows down and here the rumble.
