water is going to be able to pool on the sticky side of the tape where it shoulf be stuck to my body. your saying that this will not affect the rest of the tape... that just doesnt seem right.

You would think there would be a different method to attach the cervinis rear bumper valence, since it's such a large piece. Pic above definitley looks like issues are going to come into play with the gap......

thats exactly what im thinking, the bottom half of the tape is stuck but the top half isnt.

i removed my faux gas cap and side badges to paint them this wknd and i tried using goo gone to get it off, but it didnt to ****e
instead i used wd-40, which workes SO much better

i had these chrome mirror covers which were held on by 3M tape and the passenger side came off twice, so i took off the other side too.
the last time it came off i was closing the door and it fell on the ground. that was embarrassing. that cheap POS!
