Default Which tire to go with?

I'm about to order some tires and wanted to get your opinions. My choices are between Nitto 555 or Falken 452. I am upgrading from some nankang ns-II's. Thanks for any input

I read a lot of praises on the Nitto 555's! I haven't personally used any of them, so I can't tell you which ones to choose.

funny you should ask
i just changed from falken 452's to Nitto 555's
the Nittos are better for traction definately
the falkens would spin much easier
go with the Nittos!

Although I have no experience with any of these, I have read where forum members praise the BFG KDW2's over any of those mentioned in your thread and in the responses, including the Nitto's.

How many miles did you get out of the Falken's?

Also if I go to a 285 35 20 in the rear and a 255 40 20 upfront would it lift up my car more? I haven't lowered my car at all. I want less gap in the wheel well. I currently have 255 35 and 285 30 in the rear

I am going to go with Hankook VENTUS V12 evo 255-45-18. Apparently they were reviewed by Car and Driver Last year and were one of the top tires.

I can't get Nitto tires here for under $300 EACH (CDN but it doesnt matter) due to an exclusice contract with one of the tire stores here. Nitto was my first choice though.

I had the Nitto 555's on the first set of rims on my 2005 Mustang GT and I really liked them.
