Are the alignment holes a pain to punch out? I ask because I found a new non-oem fender on Ebay for $270 painted and including shipping but for a V6.

Thanks

If I were you and you want to retain the GT fender emblems, I would remove the posts from the emblem and put it on with only the 3M tape. Just line it up carefully and you should be fine.

Send a PM to pascal with the pics or link to this thread. He's one of our resident body shop guys and his Legend Limer is a beauty.

Thanks Nuke.

OP, get that silver fender ASAP.
You could either drill the holes in it for your GT emblem or cut off the alignment prongs with a dike, or should I say dyke.
Which ever one come first, lol.

Thanks all for the info.

One last thing, if I get the prepainted panel, will color matching be an issue with a 5 year car?

It might very well be...
It's a chance you have to take.

That stinks. Just replace the fender and you'll forget it ever happened.
