05-09 S197: Opinion Thread - Looks more 67/68 or 69/70
I've thought about this more than I'd care to admit (dimensions, styling cues, etc.). So, now I am looking for opinions and votes on the topic. I realize the S197 05-09 is it's own model and has it's own look; however, which one do you think it looks like more the 1967-1968 models or the 1969-1970 models?
Feel free to post opinions or just votes.
UPDATE: It has come to my attention, that I should have added a 3rd option- the 1965-1966 Mustang Fastback. If you feel the car is more similar to the 65-66 model, then just simply post as such. Thanks.

I say it swings closer to 67-68 models. I don't know if I can properly describe it, but it just seems to match the stoutness of that year more than the wider, longer 69-70 style. Once you throw some quarter window louvers on an S197 it takes a huge step towards looking like that year's classic fastback

True, the Bullitt model is a strong argument for the 67-68 style. I still believe the car should have been should with side window louvers (the flush mounted ones), but it was probably a safety consideration.
The Parnelli Jones edition that Saleen did would be an argument for the 69-70 style.

Future forecast: The 2014 anniversary model is going shrink in size just like the 1974 Mustang II and the focus will be on smaller size, fuel efficiency!

Ok, I'm not totally serious.
Well, not totally.:-)
