Question Running Horse Emblem Color 2011 Mustang?

I like the Kona Blue 2011 Mustang and noticed that a lot of them have the black running horse emblem on the grill. Is that part of a package? I personally like the silver horse and am looking for a premium edition V6. If I got a car with the black horse emblem would it be cheap/easy to replace it with a silver emblem?

Another quick question, do all the 2011 come with XM? I know that I won't be using it and I don't like that XM antenna in on top of the trunk. Is it always included in the V6 premium?

Thanks!

When I got my 2007 Pony Package, I got the Sirius Satellite as an option, so if you don't want it, tell the dealer.
There are companies out there that sell a Mustang cover to put over the running horse. You can ask the dealer if you can get a silver one instead of the black one. You could always take it off and paint it too.

The V6's don't get the black pony, that's just on the GT.

My 2010 Mustang GT came with the black pony in the grille, but I had it replaced with one painted Grabber Blue to match the car. The tabs break off the original emblem when it's removed so I bought a new black one, had it painted, and replaced the original with the painted one.

[QUOTE=Blue10;7017717]My 2010 Mustang GT came with the black pony in the grille, but I had it replaced with one painted Grabber Blue to match the car. So once removed the ponies cant be put back on? I have a chrome one in the box would rather not breek the old one since they are kinda rare. I read the 11's pony is slightly less dark?

Also the last link that was posted by mongoose, some of the ponies say they are for 94 and up, I thought they were different pre- 05, after 05?

The body shop guy told me there was no way to get the factory installed pony out of the grille without breaking the tabs that hold it on. The $40 for a new one was an insignificant amount compared to the rest of the work I was having done, so I don't think he was lying but I suppose it's possible he could have been wrong.

If you've got one in the box, maybe you can tell by looking at the tabs how it attaches and whether it can be detached. I haven't seen any photos of those tabs posted, so if you posted some maybe that might be helpful.
