2011 Spare Tire?
#21
no. if you get brembo brakes tire sealant is your only option.
OR. if you just so happen to get a flat on one of your front wheels, put your spare wheel on the rear wheel then move the rear wheel to the front where you got the flat.
the option above is the method i will use once i install my BBK during the summer.

If you have a full size spare that is the same diameter as the regular 4 wheels with the same size tire as the other 4 then you won't have this problem. Any other combinations that result in a different rolling diameter can damage the diff if you drive long distances.

Hi all. I am new to this forum. I am currently researching the 2011 GT, hopefully will be purchasing soon
I have a question. Does anyone know if the spare tire that comes with the standard 18" wheels and the spare that comes with the non-brembo 19" wheels, has the same outside diameter?
I'm just trying to make plans, in regards to if I want to go with some of the OEM 19" wheels and tires or possibly the base-price OEM 18" wheels and then buy aftermarket wheels and tires, basically curious if the spare that comes with the car in both scenarios can be put on the rear-end without differential issues. If I bought aftermarket wheels/tires, I would buy 245/45-19 all-seasons like what comes from Ford on non-brembo.

You might want to do some research on that - that Texas 'roadside assistance' is quite limited and isn't like AAA, Ford Roadside, or other roadside assitance programs. They'll give you a phone number for a nearby tow company (you pay for the tow), and maybe send out a cop/county sheriff/highway patrol officer to make sure you're ok, but you probably won't even get help changing a tire. Some areas may have roadside assistance trucks for some issues, but not all.
