What tires to put on a 2010 Shelby GT 500 Convertible?
I have a 2010 Shelby GT500 Convertible that just had it's transmission replaced after 23,000 miles and now it needs new tires.
The rims are 18" on it and everything is stock. Discount tire said 305's might be pushing it so I am wondering if there is a stock tire 285 that will help it stay on the ground.
It has severe issues putting power to the ground when you give it and I thought using a wider tire might help, I also plan on upgrading to a 660hp supercharger and I'll really need some help keeping it on the ground then.
So is there a 285 tire that has better traction or what should/can I do with the tires to keep this thing on the ground?
