Question Help please. Just installed 20 inch shelbys 295/35

Hey, i just installed 255/35/20 in front on 8.5 wide rim and 295/35/20 on 10 inch wide rim and i think they look great BUT the back ones stick out a little over the wheel well and am not shure how much i like that. I noticed the driver side is sticking out MORE on that side and am taking it back to good year to ask about it. Im thinking i might need an ajustable panhard bar? to move it over? im also wondering if im going to be able to lower with eibach springs even tho its sticking out like that? its not too bad but does anyone else have this setup??

Once lowered you will notice the one side sticking further out than the other. You'll need an adjustable panhard bar to correct it. I have 285's on my rear and they are literally at the fender wells. I spent forever and a day adjusting my panhard bar to get it as close to perfect as possible.

You probably didn't notice the car was off center until you put the wide tires on it. that will exadurate that problem, adjustable panhard will do the trick.

as jz said above, you'll need an adjustable pahard bar to center the rear axle under the car, but don't do it until you lower the car, because lowering it will cause it to move out just alittle more. The bar I like the best and highly recommend is the BMR adjustable panhard bar, part# PHR006 (http://www.bmrfabrication.com/2005MustangSUSPENSION.htm). IMO, It's got to be one of easiest bars to install and adjust.

as far as your question and concern about lowering, which Eibach springs are you talking about? If it's the sportlines, I highly doubt they'll work with those tires, but the Pro-kit should. My bother in law has 20x10's out back on his GT with 295/30/20's and his car is lowered with the Pro-kit. There's a fare amount of room between the top of the tire and fender, which has him considering running a taller tire next time...like the 295/35/20.

Which Shelby rims are you running?

that tells you the specs of the rear rims. 30 offset, i will look into the panard bar also. Looks like its def going to push it with the room in the wheel well making it fit and not hitting. And for the springs i was thinkin pro-kit or even a less lower drop spring? Thanks

The 30 offset is your problem, if you had 40 or 45 offsets your 295's would be tucked in under your fenders.

I've seen 30 offset 8.5/9/9.5'' rims on these cars and can't say I like the look of the wheels sticking out past the fenders. Some guys do so it's an opinion I guess.
I prefer the 40-45 offset range like cutter stated. I'm actually amazed something not's rubbing with 20'' 295's and that offset.

Just noticed that ebay link states those shelby wheels are for camaro/firebird. That explains the offset but the real question is who would put shelby rims on an f-body??? haha. Another GM owner would kick their ***.
