BTW if you're worried about warranty dont be... just keep you're stock air intake and then everything is all good. If the car breaks down all you do is take the CAI off and return the tune to stock. BAM you're good to go to the dealer and say WTF is my car breaking for?

try this.

put the car into 1st. have fun...at about 5,500 rpm shift it into 2nd manually. you should burn the tires off in 1st and get a good 2nd gear scratch. worked on my 03 GT w/ auto all the time...and it had almost 40 less HP.

be aware this is extremely hard on the tranny though

Dude, Nuke said it well, 06 cant have much warranty left. Come on, get a cai sct combo from brenspeed, install it and for the first time since you bought your car you will get a big *** ****'n grin on your face!!! Your ride will hit second and reward you with a wonderful "irrrrt" then third "irrt"......

Dont believe me..........check it out...

the stock tune closes the throttle body blades momentarily between shifts. This prevents the hard shifts and quick chirps a nice tune will give you. Forget about warranty and have fun with your car! get a tune!

You guyz that worry about warranty are wusses. Just do it and enjoy the car before it and you are old. Besides, how much warranty can be left on an '06?
Ok Nuke...open up and tell us how you really feel!! Great reply!
