Going to buy a GT/CS
#31
$200-$500 over is a fair price for everyone, IMHO. I'd shoot for email quotes from the dealers in the area, most Internet departments sell the cars for a few hundred over invoice. That way you have the price in writing before you head to the dealership. DO NOT lease a car for 72 months. If you mean finance, I'd shoot for the shortest term you can afford.
Asking people on a forum what is a fair "Out the door" price is not a good question, since each state varies in taxes, tags, etc. Negotiate the price of the car first, the taxes and title fees are set by your state/county etc. Just make sure to ask for an itemized purchase order so you can see all the costs upfront.
Good luck.
