ORIGINAL: SpecOp1

Does anyone have any info on the Ford Racing latest magazine showed them as very light and had same specs as most of the others....thanks.....
in the sept issue of MM&FF...Ford Racing axle backs were a little bit lighter (I can't remember off hand...I remember something like 6 lbs lighter) and showed no gain on the dyno.

The only spot I've seen Ford Racing Axleback's are on ebay thru Downs Ford Racing...

I called them and they told me all they are are Borla's with a Ford Racing logo.
Look for yourself...

Thanks Mauiboy. That sucks. In the lastest issue of MM&FF they did a test of axle backs and Bassani and Ford Racing made the most power which I guess means then that Bassini and Borla made the most power. Just not sure I like the Borla sound. Back to the wish list. Please don't tell me that the cold air intake will be a rip off too!

Dear Mauiboy,

So you decided to get the MACs...

Let me know how you like them...

Let's see if you are not "just about the hottest car in the neighborhood"???

I've been to several Mustang Car Shows and everyone, even the older model Cobra SVT guys say my car sounds "BAD" and they ask me what have I done to the exhaust system...

In sounds like a big block!!!

Get back to me, Dave

Dear Mauiboy,

My car is in the paint shop right now getting the CDC Spoiler and Mirrors painted to match the car...

I pick it up tomorrow...

I'll have pictures later this week...

Told them to take the mirrors off first before they paint them...

Quality shop -- does exotics and high priced vehicles only...

Well I installed the Mac's last night and all I can say is Wow! what a difference in tone, now it sounds like a true V8. I'll post some pics this weekend. I agree with some previous threads though, the driver side was a pain in the *** to take off. Total time it took me 1-1/2hr
