True. I mean, trading was just an idea/option. The whole selling process is such a hassle usually, if something came up I'd jump on it but I don't know if I'd really make a big effort

Just make sure you think things through before you pull the trigger!

Yeah it's a lot to think about. Maybe I'll "settle" for 4.10's and t-lok

I think I've seen 01-04 GT's go for around $6K. That might be a Texas thing though. I'd much rather have an NE GT than a V6 of any year.

Yeah cars on the East Coast generally seem to go for a premium. I mean I've seen stock 04 GTs with 72,000mi go for $14,000. The only NE GTs in the $6k range are beat to $hit or have tons of miles

So I think I've come to the decision to keep my car. Between the money/time I've put into my car, and just the overall hassle of selling/trading, I don't really see the point. I'd basically have to start over with a "new" car (mod wise). Maaaybe down the road I'll either pick up a 98 GT or a X-Charger but for now, I'm going to continue with my 05. I also think if I get 4.10's with T-Lok, I will be very happy and is something I plan to do, hopefully soon. Thanks for all the help

I think on down the road if you get an X-Charger you will love it. No it won't sound like a V8, but it will kick most stock V8s all day long and get better mpg and insurance rate to boot!

That's your opinion.....some of us feel a 2005+ style is waaaaay better even if it's a V6. If it's a 2011, that's even better!

glad you saw the light. I've had a SN95 and a New Edge. Great cars...but.

The S197 is a better car in all respects. Even the V-6 model is a better car than the 01-04 GT's. perhaps not in performance, but in ride quality and comfort.

spend the $1,000 for a set of 4.10's and a spool or T-lok. I think you'd fall back in love with the car. The 4.10's will work great with your auto and wake her up. Then some custom tuning and the car will handle 100% different from stock.

besides, do you really want to be driving a 6-10yr old car around that somebody has been hotrodding? been there done that. and there is usually some broke stuff to deal with
