Anyone else have this problem. the car is on order and i have a build date.

I don't think you'll be able to pull the sticker up this early. It'll start showing up a little later for you.

it said that for my 06 for a few days but now says it can't find my VIN number........

Of course when that happens, you'll be travelling pretty damn fast!

I tried using that retrieval tool over a year ago and it didn't work for my 2008. I'm not sure it's still functioning.

I think it only used to go back a couple of years. I forgot the cutoff point, but it was something like 24 months from a current model. So with the release of the 2010, yours may have been dropped from the database. I snagged a .pdf copy of mine while it was available.

This never worked for my 05, but it does come up for the 09.

Is it supposed to be for your exact vehicle? The sticker that comes up says my car is Torch Red, but my car is blue.

It should be for your exact vehicle. That is a strange web site. A few months ago I tried it for my '07 and got the error message. A few days ago, the window sticker was there. Some people have said that the '06 and earlier are not there, and '07 is scheduled to drop off after December 31, 2010. I don't know. Keep trying is about all I can say. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. Good luck.
