OP keep your head up man, when things are down its hard to look at what we still have and to realize what is most important. You still gotta nice stang, still have family and friends. There are always peaks and valleys, the good news is that your in a valley and you can only go up!! You will be fine and even if you believe or not it doesnt hurt to pray, ill keep you in mine!

Sorry to hear about your poor car. You weren't too far from me as I am in Poughkeepsie. I84 is very busy with alot of truck traffic.
There is God and he answers prayers. But I have found out a while ago that God alows things to happen but also gives us a way out or help. For example I was on the NYS Thruway doing 70 mph with my whole family in the car going up to my mother's funeral upstate. I get a blowout. Didn't lose control and as it happens I was about 100' from the entrance to a service area. I coasted in and they happen to have the right size tire and I was on my way in 1/2 hour.

OP, not to bible thump on you for sure but God is your biggest ally now and forever. I'm just a guy on earth like you (not a pastor, etc). Talk to him, trust him, period. Our time here will be the worse thing we ever experience if we are followers. I'm not always as faithful as I should be but I know He's here with US. We don't know the grand plan (just snippets), He does though.
Anyway prayers to your family. Your seflessness in just leaving your job shows your true spirit. Things WILL work out. Have faith.
