People may have been harsh, but honestly if you're spending that kind of money to buy a car, or anything for that matter, it's always a good idea to gather information about the purchase in advance. I wouldn't qualify a post saying "I'm buying this car in 2 hours" as doing research ahead of time. I do think had he, or she, posted this just a generic question much further in advance, acknowledging their lack of information on the vehicle, the response would have been much gentler.

I don't think there's been carbs. since about 1985, I guess we just take for granted everyone knows something about cars.

Hey OP dont forget to check and make sure the flux capacitor is working and theres plenty of exhaust fluid before you buy it!!!

Seriously, though, when did they stop putting carburetors in cars? I don't think I've owned one since the late seventies.

Check and make sure your torque converter isn't low on torque. It's a pain to fill back up.

I just replaced the muffler bearings in my 05 so before you buy check up on those.
