For a stripped nut/bolt use a pair of pliers that locks. This will allow a grip on the nut/bolt that will not slip. Then you can just loosen it. Liquid wrench will help too if it's corroded

ya i should try the wd-40 attempt. It was so unreal. The very first bolt!. I was turning the right way, and i tried the vice grips, and those stripped it worse. I was like wtf. Clamped em on reallllllll tight got a breaker bar and cranked it and it just made it worse. It is almost like the fu*king things are welded to the bolt. Not to much corrosion on the setup.

I will try the wd-40 and the extractors... How do those work? it seems like they are normal sockets... what do the do to "extract" the bolt out. if all else fails i will be going to the body shop and getting them to remove them, It is ridiculous. This is the first real big problem i have run into with modifications that i couldn't figure out that day. All part of the fun huh

The extractors work very well if the head of the bolt is rounded. They get a bite on the head and make it easy to loosen.

Ive done all my exhaust work myself, and WD40 works miracles...

The extractors are made by a few companies, craftsman has them and theres a name brand called turbo socket. they arent regular hex sockets they have a "turbo" design that bits into the bolt usually able to remove bolts like 70% rounded

i didnt think that the wd-40 would make that huge of a difference.... i will have to try the "soaking method" on the bolts now. I guess if so many people had success with the wd 40 then i should to right haha....

o and as for the extractors i will have to use that on the stripped one. I now see how it works. How it actually bights into the bolt.
