There was no sound difference when I installed my first shaker. But when I installed my second one, I noticed a loud whiney sound!

I had mine installed 2.5 years ago and did it myself. Also had jlt cai and bought a flexible tube from auto zone and tied it to my cold air. So many flame you putting one own i never brought it up. Some on here say the air goes over the top and not thru the shaker but i can see a distinct round dirty spot on my filter in less than 3k miles so i definetly know it pumping in cold air. plus it sounds off a litle especially when cold outside.

A friend has a shaker on a car with nice cams and his Shaker really shakes at idle.

Very nice ride, man!
That is what I like most about it, the look reminds me of some classic muscle

It must be nice to see her shake: rock and roll, baby!
I will take one and post it, it does look cool from the drivers seat. It is pretty cool seeing it shake, I'm loving it!

Thanks! Nope, no change at all that I can hear...

I did the same thing, bought the 3' x 3" Spectre hose kit from autozone to complete the connection, only needed a little of the kit. Honestly, I only did this mod for appearance really. I didn't expect any performance increase - and haven't really noticed one either. But I smile a little more when I am driving or looking at my car so I guess it was worth it.

Boozshey, does the Super Shaker fit into the same opening as the shaker scoop, lined up the same? It would be nice if it did when I am able to upgrade to it.

It does, as you have some adjustment play anyway.
Also, the hood brace has a square recess in it, so you can't really cut a hole in a whole lot a different position, regardless of the manufacturer...
It has to fall within that brace recess.
