recently did some mods, i painted in between my tail lights. i used krylon flat black. And i slapped on a UPR catch can. the catch can catches a LOT more then i expected it to, with is good.
Nice can you put a catch can on a V6 and what exactly does it do? I have an idea...
Catch cans allow you to vent the crank case without sending oil vapor into your incoming air at the intake manifold. Under harsh conditions (WOT), the crank case will build pressure. Manufacturers addressed this by running a venting hose from your drivers-side valve cover to your intake manifold. While this does vent the excess crank case pressure, oil particles travel with this air, into your incoming air, and mixes with your air and fuel. The catch can splices in the middle of this hose and involves a catch can (obviously) and a filter to "catch" the oil.
While I don't see any reason why you couldn't install one on a V6 (99% sure you can), I can't say for sure that you can't (I don't have a V6). Hopefully someone who has first-hand knowledge can chime in and let us know for sure.
