Had the Transmission/Throttle Control light (little Yellow wrench) come on in my 2010 GT Auto tranny after a cold start-up and about 2 miles down the road.

Effects after the light came on were decreased throttle response, more specifically tranny was shifting seemingly fine, but when I tested the throttle by pinning the gas a little to get it to down shift and take off from a 20-30 roll, it just lugged and would not down shift. Kinda felt like trying to take off from a dead stop in forth gear, just wouldn't go, and RPMs would just level out. If you just ease into the throttle it will shift into each gear slowly, but doesn't like it when you try to pin it to take off.

In the meantime, I let it set for a few hours after the light came on, and then tried the same thing, Cold Start up, drove a total of 5 miles round trip and NO light. Regardless, I will be taking it to the dealer in the morning, hopefully the computer logs the codes in case it's not ON by the time I get there.

Just thought I would throw this up here, haven't heard of many problems with these yet.

limp home mode? i dont know what wouldve caused this. is the car stock?

Do you have a custom tune? Something similar to this has happened to me before... I determined it was more than likely a bad tune. I "limped" home and loaded in different tune and the issue was gone.
