I am sorry to hear that!!!!! I would have a tough time selling one...I might be able to make a package deal on both my wife and her V6 as a last resort to save my GT and GT500 if it ever came to that...but thats just me...I wish you the best of luck with your dilemma !!

I personally don't think you will do sub-13's with 315 gears. My 2010 GT Premium Auto has 331 gears. I'm very happy with it. There isn't a gnats-butt difference in ET's for most drivers. There would be with a professional driver but most people are not capable of doing any better than the computer. (You might want a new program for the puter)The auto gives up some power in the torque converter but overcomes that by accurate shifting staying on the power curve. 315 gears are a big mistake if you want to go fast in a 1/4 mile.

Alright, I know I'm reviving an old thread here, but I figured better to revive this rather than start a whole new thread.
I just wanted to know if its possible to change the gears on automatics (yeahh i'm a car noob lol). But I suppose the only way to learn is to ask stupid questions. I ordered myself a 2011 GT a couple weeks ago and since it's auto it'll come with the 3.15 gears and I wanted to know if I could upgrade to 3.73s. Also, would you guys think this is a good idea?
Thanks!
