I went the route of a pretty stout car to start with but anything I add/added to the car is purchased and installed via Ford racing/dealership. Warranty is not an issue.

You only live once, then you die, do what you want with your car, if you don't, when your almost dead, you may wish you had! If you do, your survivors will say you did what you wanted to! Aint that profound?

Cosmetic will never affect your warranty.

I've owned over 8 vehicles bought new plus a few used with remaining warranty. In all that time and over 1 million miles did I EVER have an engine or drive train related warranty issue. Everything else that was minor was handled with no issues, including my current Stang. I never removed the CAI when I took her in for the few minor things and the only comment from the shop manager was "Great looking intake."

If you're that worried, don't do a thing to it. Matter of fact, if the gas cap still recommends BP gas like mine does, don't put anything else in or you'll void your warranty. Yeah, that's pretty stupid but you DID buy the car to enjoy it so enjoy it.
