Default Tune glitch: Should I worry?

I have been running a CAI and package of Brenspeed 87-89-93 tunes for about a week. I have to say that the 93 tune puts a big ol' grin on my face every time I step on the gas pedal I've tried out all of the tunes to compare them. I'm having a strange problem. I upload the tune according to the instructions. Often on the first run after changing tunes, I will go about a mile and then my engine will start to stall and I'll get a "limp home" [wrench] light on the dash. If I turn off the ignition and restart, often the light will go away and the tune will run great. Sometimes I have to reload the tune, and sometimes I just have to restart a couple of times without reloading. Once I get it going, though, the car runs great. I've had the 93 tune in for several days without a glitch. Brenspeed says this is a random error and I shouldn't worry about it. Anyone else have this problem? How can I tell that my engine is running lean? I wouldn't want to risk serious engine damage because the tune is flakey.

I don't think that sounds right, but if Brenspeed says it's nothing to worry about, then maybe it's not??

Hopefully others can chime in with some other opinions.

If you were running lean you'd throw a CEL. I'd stick with it and if it continues to worry you, ask them to review and rewrite the tune. This is a strange one for sure.

I've been running a Brenspeed 93 octane tune in my '06 GT for a couple years. I've never had such a problem. I'd ask them to re-write it.
