Any ideas or input?

No offense intended, but I get the impression the OP maybe doesn't have a realistic idea about what it takes to get a car into the low 11's or high 10's. I'm not saying it's an unrealistic goal, but its going to require a lot of work, and probably won't happen without track (drag) tires.

Also trading it in will cost at least $10,000 that is a lot of money for 100hp. SC is a bolt on and you'll be ahead of any 2011 for a lot less money.

You need a supercharger, suspension, and other mods to break your car into the high 11's. You will spend at least $8,000 depnding on the blower you get. You also have to consider that above 450whp or so you need a forged bottom end, whcih will greatly increase your cost. If i were you, i woudl stick at 450whp and have fun. the Roush cars put out somehwere in the 360 to 380 whp range and are tons of fun to drive and don't void the warranty if you have a shop do the install. You could expect to run some good tiems with that set up at the track. I have factory 3.73's and with the blower i choose they are perfect. I personalyl would not go above 3.73 gears.

I disagree. I have 4.10s and I drive 50+miles per on the hwy at least 5 days per. week. My avg MPG is around 18.5 and that's with about 40 miles little to no traffic on the hwy, 10 miles with hvy traffic and 10-12 miles in the city. I can easily get 24-25 MPG driving 70-75 on the hwy.

Just as a comparison for the OP...

The Corvette ZR1 (which is about $110k before tax) and has over 600hp and less weight does the quarter in 11.2 seconds. You are asking a LOT from a street car.

I think that, currently, 2010's are good to buy becuase everyone wants the 2011 so demand has gone way down on 2010 and the lots are gonna be hard up to get rid of them. However, it's gonna be bad to sell a 2010 becuase then again, they have to take a cut because of the demand, so YOU are going to be the one taking a cut on trade in value.

Maybe start like everyone else and work your way up. CAI+Tune is #1 on the list, and try some bolt ons. Testing and tuning is just as fun as having a fast car

A 13 second car is fast and very doable. Even a high 12 second car is very doable and very fast. Low 11's-10's is . . well wow. I'll have 500+ horsepower to the wheels and might see high 11's with the way I'm going to drive it.
