plugging a vented hood?

I suspect wind through this vented hood is giving me some turbulence issues at my CAI. Now..who, especially you vented hood guys, has suggestions for putting something behind the vents to seal up the hood?

I know of at least one car audio shop here that does fiberglass fabrications for subwoofer boxes. I was thinking of going there to have them custom make a panel to glue behind these vents. I'm thinking if they can custom fab subwoofer boxes they can make something that plugs my hood.

What else ya got?
