Strange Vids inside (new 5.0)
#11
I recently beat a new manual 5.0 in a roll and a dig race. He missed 3rd in the roll race, and he burned up the tires in the dig because he said he wasn't used to his new ride yet(only 80 miles on the clock).

The rest of the story.
This is a vid of a race between my good friends car and my 2011 Gt.

It is what it is....... It was running me down up top, and he had at least a 250+# passenger.
I was driving my wife's car (the 02 GT) Me and Chris have been friends for a long time, I'm not hiding anything on the car. Like I said, he would have eventually run me down.
I've only run her car in the 1/8th and when I did shift good it ran 8.30's on good tires.

It is able to run 87. The computer uses the knock sensors to determine what gas your using and reduces the timing accordingly. That is the reason ford rates the car at 402 hp on 87 and 412 hp on 91-93. I dont blame the dealer for using the cheapest gas possible. Its all about the bottom line for them.

Granted, there is more to what an engine can run in terms of gas than simple compression ratio and fuel octane (piston/chamber design, cam profile, timing, etc) I'd still be a bit peeved if I had dropped 35-42k on a car and they jipped me on the good stuff to save 10 bucks. I guess thats why I tell them not to fill it. When I bought my current car I was just SURE some errand guy was going to take the car up to the gas station and put regular in it.
