Default Is there a difference between the 05', 06', 07', 08' and 09' Mustang GT

I know they are within the same sub model, but is there any differences, exterior, interior, and performance wise when comparing the 2005, 06', 07', 08', and 2009 Mustang GT ? If so, which is the best year to purchase ?

Best year to purchase would probably be the one with the most warranty still attached .

yes, yes, yes and yes, they are all different in someway....they all have their own unique problems and some have more added feature options...

I own an 07 and I really wish it was an 08, I think that was the year they started ambient lighting and started putting the radio antenna on the rear decklid...also it didn't have the leaks that the 07 has, atleast not to my knowledge...

the 05 is probably the worst year to buy, no offense to anyone, but buying a first year new model is sometimes not a good idea....they haven't quite worked all the kinks out and haven't listened to customer complaints...after the first year they get some things sorted it and its more perfected...so on and so on...BUT, that said, sometimes they get it right the first time and make changes that ruin the car. I don't think thats the case with the s197

The 05-06 did not have TPMS, which I think is great. They had the terrible spark plug breaking heads.

The 07 and some of the 08's are the worst year ever. They have TPMS and the ****ty head design.

There are a number of minor differences in features and options. For example, the later models have an auxillary input on the Shaker 500 so that you can hook up an ipod or other audio device. I think there may have been some changes in spark plugs as well -stuff like that.

No issues with my 07 but then I still need to do the plugs so I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I would just check to see what TSB's have been performed and then after that its just minor cosmetic and interior options. This should cover most of your questions.
